Texas Specialty Veterinary Services would like to announce the joining on Don Hulse, DVM, DACVS, DECVS to our team. Dr. Hulse brings years of experience and knowledge in orthopedic surgery to our company. Dr. Hulse graduated from Texas A&M University Veterinary School in 1970 and completed his surgical training in 1973 from Kansas State University. Dr. Hulse has worked at the Texas A&M Veterinary School for over 30 years and worked at LSU and Oklahoma State veterinary schools as well.

Dr. Hulse is a very well recognized surgeon and researcher in the veterinary community. His contributions to the veterinary orthopedics have included authoring books and chapters for veterinary textbooks, teaching laboratories to students and practicing DVM’s, and doing research for arthroscopy of joints, minimally invasion orthopedic procedures, and joint stabilization.

Dr. Hulse will be working mainly one day a week either Tuesday or Thursday and will be doing orthopedic procedures only, include CBLO’s.
